OUR RESTORE IS NOW OPEN!!
What is a ReStore?
A ReStore is a facility that is based mostly on the donations and volunteering of the local community. The donations are then sold to the public at discounted rates and all the proceeds go to help fund the building of homes for local communities. The mission of a ReStore is three-fold. Our mission is to keep usable building materials, home improvement products, and appliances out of local landfills, to provide new and gently used home improvement materials and appliances at affordable prices to people of all income levels, and to generate additional funds to build more Habitat for Humanity homes in the Cumberland County area.
We are now taking donations on Saturdays from 8am until 12 noon. We need:
Major Appliances, small appliances, furniture, shelving, garden tools, power tools, hand tools, lumber and other building supplies, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, windows, doors, counter tops, cabinets, antiques, and other home goods. For larger donations, please call to schedule a pick-up.
Wednesday: 12pm – 8pm
Thursday and Friday: 10am – 6pm
Saturday: 9am – 3pm
Volunteers are an essential part of the ReStore. We couldn’t run without the dedicated, enthusiastic and hard-working people who donate the gift of their time. If you are interested in volunteering, contact the Store Manager for more information.
We are currently holding training sessions for anyone interested in volunteering. Training sessions will be held on Saturday, January 4th at 10am and Tuesday, January 7th at 6pm. Please contact us to let us know you will be there!
